by The Irish Pride pulled away to 8-1 while we have a logjam at 6-3. TacoMan9000, Joe Buck Yourself, and GB Gamblers have the inside track at making it to the postseason. However, the Darque Warriors, Pimps, and Top Dawgs are at 4-6 and are very much still alive. With 4 games to go, a lot can happen. Even the Scallywags, Monsters, and Jesters are technically still alive.
This week will change things, so don’t suck!

#8 scallywags (3-6) VS #5 darque warriors (4-5)
While there may be matchups with teams higher in the standings, this matchup is a big one! A loss here could mean their playoff possibilities are over. Currently, the Scallywags have a 4.2% chance at making the playoffs. As for the Darque Warriors, they are now looking at a 19% chance after taking the loss last week.
The Scallywags are coming off a phenomenal scoring week. They scored the 2nd most points in a game versus those Midway Monsters, who are probably still fuming. Things do seem to be looking up for the Scallywags coming off that win and CMC returning soon, but they have a massive hill to climb. Everything needs to go right. The Darque Warriors look to get in their way, as this is their 36th lifetime matchup and the Warriors are 25-10 in these meetings. Needless to say, they own these Scallywags.
The Darque Warriors may be owning this hypothetical machup (if both teams played each other every week). However, the last 2 weeks the Scallywags would have crushed the Warriors!

ESPN is giving the Scallywags an edge here. How about that? A lot is up in there air here as they’ve got a lot of wounded. If everyone suits up, it should be a great game. The Warriors can do some real damage control if AJ Brown plays, as he could cancel out some of Jalen Hurts’ TD passes. The million dollar question though, is: Will McCaffrey play??
PREDICTION: Scallywags hang on to those slim hopes and Warriors will kick his dog.
#1 Irish pride (8-1) VS #2 tacoman9000 (6-3)
Powerhouse matchup! A Future playoff machup? We shall see. The Irish have mathematically clinched a playoff spot. Now, they are looking to hang on to that #1 spot for the regular season title. As for TacoMan, he held on to the #2 spot even after losing to Joe Buck Yourself last week by a measly 3 points. They are now tied with 2 others with a 6-3 record. Playoffs aren’t a guarantee yet. However, they have great odds with an 82% chance at advancing at this point.
Though the Irish would have won 2/3 of these matchups this season, the two teams would have split that last 4 matchups. It’s anyone’s game!
The Irish Pride roll out their best player on Thursday Night (Lamar Jackson). If he scores well, it’s going to feel like a lonnng wait for TacoMan to try to retaliate. ESPN is projecting a tight game here with just a slight edge to TacoMan. However, with both teams having so many weapons to work with, either team could easily blow the other out of the water.

#3 Joe buck yourself (6-3) VS #7 Top Dawgs (4-5)
Joe Buck Yourself is riding high after a clutch win over TacoTruck9000 last week. The Dawgs also landed in the win column last week with a much needed victory over the Darque Warriors. JBY is in control of his own destiny while sitting in the #3 spot. The Dawgs need help and with this matchup, they can help themselves. A Joe Buck Yourself loss would be big for many teams.
Just looking at these hypothetical matchups make it look very grim for the Dawgs. They would have only won 2 games against JBY this season and they haven’t hit triple digits in 4 weeks.
But there’s one thing we know about the canines. They’re ready to pounce!
Derrick Henry blah blah blah. We get it, the guy is good. Shame on all who passed him up in the 1st round. The dude is money and he is perfect for that offense. With the combination of Henry, Breece Hall, and Chase Brown, most teams are going to have a problem keeping up. However, they are facing something called destiny this week. And this destiny comes in the form of “America’s Team”, the Top Dawgs. They are making their playoff push right now and it’s something that just cannot be stopped. Joe Buck Yourself is going to wake up Tuesday and wonder what the hell happened as their winning ways came to a screeching halt.

#6 The Pimps (4-5) VS #9 Midway monsters (2-7)
The Pimps have lost 3 of their last 4 and are slipping further down the standings. The Midway Monsters just got throttled by the Scallywags last week with a score of 110-153. The Monsters have faced 2 of the top 5 highest scores this season. That ain’t good.
It took until Week 5 for the Midway Monsters to start scoring. Now, they look capable of taking teams on. They would have won the last 2 weeks against The Pimps. Let’s see if that trend continues.
ESPN is giving a huge edge to The Pimps here, even though he is starting a Chicago QB. It’s amazing that the matchups show The Pimps with an advantage at QB with them having Caleb Williams, when he is facing Patrick Mahomes. WTF?!?!?!
Both teams are rolling out players with the most insane plays this season. Saquon Barkley and his crazy backwards leap and Garrett Wilson and his “jump man” catch. There should be some highlight film from this game for sure.
SUPER DUPER GUARANTEE: Can’t wait to see how it all goes wrong for Midway this week. Pimps win despite inferior QB play.
#10 Jesters (2-7) VS #4 GB GAMBLERS (6-3)
Gamblers clutch a game against The Pimps last week to settle into that #4 spot. They can control things now. But, teams are waiting if they slip up. The Jesters fought valiantly against the Champs last week, but fell 3 points short. It was a devasting loss, but they do still have a 0.3% chance at the postseason. They ain’t dead yet!
The Jesters would have been better off playing the Gamblers every week! They would have doubled their wins.
While the Gamblers would have dominated the Jesters early in the season, the Jesters would have taken 3 out of the last 4 games. Fear the Jesters!
The Jesters will know early on if they have a chance this week as they have Joe Burrow playing on Thursday night. The Gamblers will continue to roll out 2 Cardinals with Kyler Murray and James Conner as their first 2 starters. They may be suffering a setback with their #1 Pick (Lamb). He lost his QB and is injured himself. Make you wonder if the Jesters just might be able to pull off this upset!
PREDICTION: Jesters do what they nearly did last week; take down a big fish.
