The playoffs are in full swing and we are at halftime of the 1st round. And what a first half it was!

The story of the day was the Top Dawgs absolutely exploding! All TacoMan could do was shake his head as touchdown after touchdown was scored for the Dawgs. At the half, the Dawgs have scored 13 touchdowns and are leading TacoMan 182-89. The 182.58 points is actually the 2nd highest points scored in a week in league history. Taco is facing a 92 point deficit. Not only are they going to need to light up the scoreboard this week, they need the Dawgs to collapse.

As for Joe Buck Yourself facing the Irish Pride, we have a closer battle. The score sits at 118-94 with JBY holding the lead by 24.22 points. This was Joe Buck Yourself’s 4th best week of the season. He is stepping up when needed this year. As for the Irish, this was their worst scoring week of the season and just the second time all year where they didn’t score 100+ points. The Irish Pride can’t blame this loss on Lamar Jackson’s bye either as Baker Mayfield filled in admirably. It was their WR and FLEX positions that just petered out. All WR’s on the Irish roster at this point are waiver wire pickups. Their drafted WRs either got hurt (Stephon Diggs and Rashee Rice) or really just didn’t cut it. This problem will be worth watching in the 2nd half.

Now, JBY might have a lead, but the Irish Pride are still in this one…afterall they ARE the defending champs. Also, they have averaged 15 points per game more than JBY, so 22 points is very attainable.

Playoff Matchups

This is it! JBY has a 22 point lead. Can Rich catch up?? The Irish need to show what they have right now if they want a chance to repeat that championship. Every start/sit decision for both teams matters here. One wrong move and your season could be over!!

That Ravens VS Giants will be huge! The Irish Pride’s Lamar Jackson, the top fantasy player VS JBY’s Derrick Henry, the #2 RB. Both facing a terrible Giant team. What the Irish Pride really need though is to lean on those stud RBs. If Kyren Williams, James Cook, and Jahmyr Gibbs can do what they are capable of, things will get interesting. JBY will play the waiting game to see who fills out his lineup as a few players are looking hobbled.

This game really could go either way as they are both loaded with talent. However, only one is advancing to the championship game to face the Top Dawgs winner of the Dawgs VS Tacoman. Good luck to both.

Heading into the second half, the Dawgs have a 92.78 point lead over TacoTruck. Those in TacoTown are speechless. A season full of hope has now come to a week of prayers. TacoMan is grabbing all of his voodoo dolls and good luck charms in hopes of making some sort of a competition out of this one. ESPN is giving them a 5% chance at coming back. Though small, it is a chance. And if the Dawgs can score a bonanza like that, perhaps the Taco can too.

One thing hampering Taco’s efforts of a comeback is that the Dawgs are countering TacoMan’s WR Justin Jefferson. If Jefferson has a big day, more than likely the Dawg’s Sam Darnold will too, thus cancelling Taco’s biggest playmaker. So Taco will need the entire team to rack up the yards and TDs. Could we see the most impressive comeback in league history? Or are the Dawgs moonwalking their way into the championship game next week?
