THE COMMISH’S CRUNCHTIME POWER RANKINGS
The Taco Takeover has a commanding lead, the Pimps have reloaded, and the standings are concealing a few surprises. Six weeks of results are in. Week 7 has yet to kick off. The CPI respects what teams have earned—and watches what they’re becoming.
“The numbers don’t lie. The Commish doesn’t sugarcoat them.”
🏆 The Official Week 7 Top 10
CPI 8.2 — Proven Power & Momentum. Scores reflect Weeks 1–6; Week 7 games are upcoming. Last Rank and CPI changes compare against the previous published edition (entering Week 6, based on Week 5 results).
🌮 Tacoman9000
Hector has officially turned the Taco Takeover into a five-win operation. The 93.28-point Week 6 win over McE’s Scallywags wasn’t flashy, but a 41–13 All-Play record through six weeks is the league’s strongest résumé. Next up: Ben’s resurgent Pimps, who have the firepower to make the throne uncomfortable.
🐺 Top Dawgs
The Dawgs were riding three straight wins and the season’s 166.44-point high when Week 6 delivered a 71.74-point reality check against Irish Pride. Their season-leading 697.54 points keep them second, but the gap behind TacoMan has widened. Dennis and Joe Buck Yourself await in Week 7—and suddenly that matchup looks less routine.
💣 The Pimps
Ben’s offense finally remembered how to detonate. After three straight losses, the Pimps erupted for 131.90 in Week 6 to bury the Monsters and leap four spots in the rankings. Their 38–16 season All-Play record is second-best in Crunchtime. The ultimate measuring stick comes immediately: a Week 7 showdown with #1 TacoMan.
🎰 GB Gamblers
The Gamblers answered a disastrous 62.46-point Week 5 with 112.92 and a victory over the Warriors. At 5–1, they’ve earned every bit of respect the standings demand, but their 29–25 All-Play record leaves a question: can the house keep cashing tickets against the league’s best? Irish Pride is next.
👑 Midway Monsters
The defending champs had quietly stacked three wins in a row, but Ben’s Pimps ended that run with a 131.90–79.80 hammering. The Monsters slide two places as their season All-Play record falls to 25–29. A Week 7 meeting with the Jesters offers a chance to stop the skid before the crown starts feeling too heavy.
🍀 Irish Pride
Rich finally got the result his team has been chasing: a 77.40–71.74 win over the Dawgs. It’s only a second victory, but Irish Pride has scored 612.16 points—more than several teams with much better records—and owns a 28–26 All-Play mark. The CPI sees the underlying fight; now the Irish need to turn that into a streak against the 5–1 Gamblers.
🚨 Joe Buck Yourself
Dennis has become the league’s most intriguing turnaround story. After opening with three losses and scores of 79.86, 65.88 and 65.04, Joe Buck Yourself has posted 116.68, 90.84 and 117.04. Week 6’s win over the Jesters lifts them three ranking spots. A date with the Dawgs is the perfect chance to prove this rise is real.
🛡️ Darque Warriors
Brad’s Warriors have dropped two straight, and a 76.88-point Week 6 showing wasn’t enough to challenge the Gamblers. Their six-week scoring has been steadier than spectacular, but the 24–30 All-Play record now lags their 3–3 standing. Week 7 against the Scallywags is a chance to stabilize before this becomes a slide.
🃏 Miami Jesters
The Jesters followed their 145.96-point Week 5 explosion with just 81.60 in a loss to Joe Buck Yourself. That whiplash is exactly why the CPI doesn’t crown a breakout after one big Sunday. At 1–5, they need consistency more than another isolated highlight. The defending champion Monsters come calling in Week 7.
🏴☠️ Scallywags
McE’s Scallywags are now 3–3 after a 56.38-point Week 6 loss to TacoMan. Worse, they went 0–9 in weekly All-Play for the second time in three weeks, leaving them at 12–42 overall. Three wins still count, but the offense has to show it can compete across the league. The Warriors are next on deck.

🎤 A TACO KING, A PIMP RESURRECTION, AND A LEAGUE ON NOTICE
Five wins, a 41–13 All-Play record, and the best CPI in Crunchtime: Hector’s TacoMan has earned the throne. But this week isn’t just about the king. It’s about the team that might be coming for him.
Ben’s Pimps went from three straight losses to a 131.90-point statement, and now Week 7 puts them directly across from TacoMan. That is the headline game: #1 versus #3, a red-hot comeback versus the league’s most complete résumé. The Dawgs still own the season scoring crown, but last week’s stumble means they have something to prove against Dennis’s improving Joe Buck Yourself.
Elsewhere, the Gamblers and Irish Pride are a study in how much records can conceal: one is 5–1 with a 29–25 All-Play mark, the other 2–4 with 28–26. And the Scallywags have three wins but only twelve All-Play victories in six weeks. The standings tell us who has won. The CPI asks who can keep winning.
“Respect what they’ve earned. Recognize what they’re becoming.”
OFFICIAL CPI 8.2 METHOD: Season All-Play 20%; season winning percentage 15%; season scoring average 10%; last-four-week All-Play 20%; Emerging Strength 15%; recent scoring floor 10%; last-four-week winning percentage 5%; season consistency 5%. Emerging Strength compares median-adjusted scoring in Weeks 5–6 against Weeks 3–4; positive improvement is gated by current scoring competitiveness (85% to 105% of league median). Recent floor is the second-lowest median-adjusted score in Weeks 3–6, normalized to the strongest team floor. Season consistency combines weeks above league median (70%) and inverse relative scoring standard deviation (30%). Season scoring is normalized to the league-leading average. CPI is a 0–100 index, not a win probability. All results are through Week 6; Week 7 is upcoming. No roster projections or injury assumptions are used.
