Here were are. Week 4. The completion of this week means that we have a third of the season in the books. Some teams are happy, some thoroughly frustrated, but most are conflicted. That 2-1, 1-2 mess has teams at the crossroads of “maybe good” “maybe bad”. A few more weeks will tell.

Congrats to The Pimps. They’re the last undefeated team standing. Let’s see if they are the first team to hold that #1 spot for more than a week.

Joe Buck Yourself and Tacoman haven’t moved. Who’s going 0-4???

Game of the week

🐾 Top Dawgs (2-1) vs. šŸ’Ž The Pimps (3-0)

The stage is set for a Week 4 clash of heavyweights: the last unbeaten team in the league, The Pimps, sitting pretty at 3-0 and ranked #1, against the dangerous Top Dawgs, who are out to bounce back after a wild 140-120 loss in the highest-scoring game of the year. This isn’t just about Week 4 bragging rights — it’s about history. The Pimps lead the all-time series 17-16, and they’ve taken the last three meetings. Can the Dawgs finally flip the script?

🐾 Top Dawgs Outlook

Lamar Jackson is still the engine here, and fresh off an MVP-caliber start, he’s ready to go shot-for-shot with Patrick Mahomes. Christian McCaffrey brings unmatched versatility at running back, while Ja’Marr Chase and DK Metcalf add plenty of aerial firepower. Jordan Mason could be a sneaky X-factor if Minnesota leans on him, and Mark Andrews remains a trusted red-zone target. Despite last week’s loss, this roster proved it can score with anyone in the league.

šŸ’Ž The Pimps Outlook

The Pimps have been smooth, steady, and ruthless. Patrick Mahomes continues to be the heartbeat, spreading the ball and piling up fantasy points. The backfield duo of Jonathan Taylor and Kyren Williams gives them both thunder and lightning, while Nico Collins and George Pickens provide upside at receiver. Trey Benson offers a youthful spark, and the Lions’ defense has been rock solid. With three straight wins against the Dawgs, confidence is sky high.

X-Factor: History on the Line

This rivalry is razor-thin historically — just one game separates them all-time. But with the Pimps riding a 3-game win streak in the series, it’s up to the Dawgs to prove they can still take down the league’s flashiest franchise.

Prediction

The Dawgs are hungry after last week’s shootout loss, but the Pimps’ balance and star power might be too much to handle. Expect Mahomes and Taylor to keep the streak alive.

Final Call: Pimps win their 4th straight over the Dawgs, 116-108, staying undefeated at 4-0.

COMMISH PICK: D A W G S SPELLS D A W G S D A W G S

šŸ‘¹ Midway Monsters (2-1) vs. 🐺 Darque Warriors (1-2)

It’s a clash of streaks in Week 4 — the Midway Monsters roll in on a two-game heater, while the Darque Warriors are fresh off their first win of the season, a nailbiter that kept them from slipping into the 0-3 abyss. But history looms large here: the Monsters don’t just beat the Warriors, they own them. The all-time record? A lopsided 20-9 in favor of the Monsters.

šŸ‘¹ Midway Monsters Outlook

Tim’s Monsters are living up to the name right now. Rookie QB Caleb Williams has been lighting it up and looks like the real deal. James Cook and Amon-Ra St. Brown keep this offense balanced, while tight end Brock Bowers is already proving he belongs in the big leagues. Depth is a strength too — Cam Skattebo and Quentin Johnston bring extra juice, and the Texans D/ST plus kicker Cameron Dicker give this squad a steady floor. With two straight wins, the Monsters are marching.

🐺 Darque Warriors Outlook

Brad’s Warriors may be down in the standings, but they’re scrappy. A.J. Brown and Garrett Wilson are elite wideouts who can swing any matchup in a single quarter. Jahmyr Gibbs has explosive upside, and if Alvin Kamara finds his rhythm after suspension, the backfield suddenly looks dangerous. David Njoku provides stability at tight end, while the Chargers D/ST could wreak havoc against the Jets. Rookie QB Jayden Daniels (if healthy) is the ultimate wild card — his legs can break games wide open.

X-Factor: History vs. Hunger

The Monsters have a historic stranglehold on this rivalry, but the Warriors are playing with the hunger of a team that just tasted victory. Can Brad’s squad flip the script, or will Tim keep his boot on the Warriors’ neck with yet another win?

Prediction

Momentum favors the Monsters, and history is screaming in their favor. The Warriors will make it interesting, but in the end… history repeats itself.

Final Call: Monsters extend the streak, 112-104.

COMMISH PICK: Monsters. 2 straight games over 100 points against the Warriors who have yet to hit triple digits.

šŸŽ² Green Bay Gamblers (2-1) vs. šŸ€ Irish Pride (2-1)

This Week 4 matchup has all the ingredients for a classic: history, momentum, and a whole lot of firepower. The Gamblers hold the edge in the all-time series at 12-10, but the Irish Pride got the last laugh, winning their most recent clash a year ago. And if last week was any indication, Rich’s Pride are roaring — they dropped 144 points, the single highest score of the season so far. Corey’s Gamblers, though, are riding their own hot streak, winners of two straight and looking to climb the standings with a statement win.

šŸŽ² Green Bay Gamblers Outlook

The Gamblers are leaning on QB Bo Nix, who’s been steady enough to keep them in games, while the backfield trio of Breece Hall, Saquon Barkley, and Travis Etienne Jr. gives them as much ground power as anyone in the league. Davante Adams remains the veteran star, though he’s banged up, leaving Drake London to shoulder more of the WR load. Zach Ertz at tight end is a wild card, while the Patriots D/ST and kicker Chris Boswell round out the lineup. With their backs steady, this squad is built to grind out wins.

šŸ€ Irish Pride Outlook

The Pride are strutting into this week with swagger after their 144-point explosion. Jalen Hurts is both a passing and rushing weapon, while Bucky Irving joins Bijan Robinson and Javonte Williams in what’s shaping up to be a young, electric backfield. Wideouts Matthew Golden and Keenan Allen bring both flash and reliability, and Hunter Henry is a sneaky red-zone target. Add the Broncos D/ST and kicker Spencer Shrader, and this is a roster that looks red hot and ready to roll.

X-Factor: Momentum vs. Revenge

The Gamblers want revenge for last year’s loss and to prove their two-game win streak is no fluke. But the Pride are white-hot after last week’s fireworks, and Hurts is playing like a man possessed. Will the Gamblers’ steady veterans slow them down, or will Irish Pride run wild again?

Prediction

This one feels like a battle of styles — the Gamblers with their veteran, run-heavy squad against the Pride’s youthful explosion of points. Momentum is on both sides, but it’s tough to pick against the team that just scored 144.

Final Call: Irish Pride rides the hot hand, 115-106, evening the all-time series at 12-11.

COMMISH PICK: Irish Pride. Their players are already proving their worth. While Gamblers could have a playoff team, several still need to wake up.

šŸŽ™ļø Joe Buck Yourself (0-3) vs. šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļø Swashbuckling Scallywags (1-2)

One of these teams desperately needs a spark. Joe Buck Yourself enters Week 4 at 0-3 and teetering on the edge of a lost season, while the Scallywags sit at 1-2, trying to claw back toward .500. Last year when these two faced off, Joe Buck Yourself lit up the scoreboard in a 129-91 blowout — but this year, both squads have been trending the wrong way. Each week their point totals have slipped lower and lower, like watching a balloon slowly deflate.

šŸŽ™ļø Joe Buck Yourself Outlook

Daniel Jones takes the reins this week, hoping to steady an offense that hasn’t found its rhythm. Josh Jacobs leads the backfield, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba and rookie Emeka Egbuka headline the receivers. Ashton Jeanty brings some youth and juice to the flex, and the Packers defense plus Harrison Butker round out a lineup that’s projected slightly ahead. If Jacobs can run wild and Jones avoids turnovers, JBY has a real shot at that elusive first W.

šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļø Swashbuckling Scallywags Outlook

The Scallywags are relying on their star QB Josh Allen, who can singlehandedly carry a team — but he’ll need help. Puka Nacua and Jaylen Waddle (questionable) offer plenty of receiving firepower, while Travis Kelce is always a threat to tilt a matchup from the tight end spot. Kenneth Walker III and Khalil Shakir fill out the lineup, with the Jaguars defense and kicker Cam Little in support. The pirates may have the firepower, but they’ve got to prove they can stop sinking.

X-Factor: Who Stops the Slide?

Both teams are scoring fewer points each week, making this a battle of ā€œwho hits the brakes first?ā€ Will JBY finally stabilize after three losses, or can the Scallywags hoist the sails and get back on track? History favors JBY after last year’s 129-91 rout, but this year’s story is still waiting to be written.

Prediction

It’s ugly, it’s desperate, and it’s likely to come down to the wire. Josh Allen is the best player on the field, but JBY has just enough balance this week to scrape by.

Final Call: Joe Buck Yourself finally gets in the win column, 104-98.

COMMISH PICK: JBY Wins. Looks like Jeanty’s coming out party.

🌮 Tacoman9000 (0-3) vs. 🤔 Miami Jesters (2-1)

It’s tacos versus laughter in Week 4, but for Tacoman9000, the joke hasn’t been funny this season. At 0-3, Hector’s squad is still searching for its first win. While they haven’t exactly lit up the scoreboard, they have been the league’s punching bag — giving up the most points against so far. On the other side, the Jesters are riding high at 2-1, and history is on their side: the last time these two met, Miami’s crew ran away with a 131-69 blowout.

🌮 Tacoman9000 Outlook

There’s talent here — Justin Herbert is capable of monster games, and pairing him with Justin Jefferson is a fantasy dream stack. Deebo Samuel and Tony Pollard add plenty of punch, while Trey McBride has been one of the most consistent tight ends in the league. Jaylen Warren and rookie Omarion Hampton round out the backfield, with the Bills D/ST and Matt Prater adding steady points. The question is, can this team finally catch a break and avoid another defensive beatdown?

🤔 Miami Jesters Outlook

The Jesters are all about chaos and fireworks. Kyler Murray brings mobility and playmaking upside, while De’Von Achane is a lightning bolt who can change the scoreboard in one play. Rookie wideouts Malik Nabers and Rome Odunze continue to grow into their roles, while Derrick Henry and J.K. Dobbins provide veteran strength in the backfield. Tight end Jake Ferguson has emerged as a reliable target, and the Seahawks D/ST plus kicker Jake Elliott make this lineup dangerous across the board.

X-Factor: History Repeating Itself?

The Jesters embarrassed Tacoman last year 131-69, and they’re more than capable of doing it again. But if Herbert and Jefferson explode at the same time, TacoMan might finally serve up a win instead of taking another order of humble pie.

Prediction

Tacoman is due for a breakout, but the Jesters look too balanced to fold. Expect another colorful performance from Miami’s squad, even if it’s not quite the same blowout as last year.

Final Call: Jesters stay laughing, 113-104, dropping Tacoman to 0-4.

COMMISH PICK: Taco Time! Herbert > Murray
