Top Dawgs Go Nuclear, Taco Man Cashes In, and the Jesters Finally Find the Win Column!
Five weeks into the Crunchtime season, the league has officially gone off the rails. The Top Dawgs delivered one of the greatest scoring performances in league history, Taco Man turned the Game of the Week into a crime scene, and the Miami Jesters finally remembered that winning fantasy football games is technically allowed.
Meanwhile, the Pimps are in free fall, the defending champions are gathering momentum, and the league’s last undefeated team has finally been knocked off its pedestal.
๐ TOP DAWGS DROP 166.44 โ AND CRASH THE HISTORY BOOKS!

Top Dawgs 166.44 โ Darque Warriors 101.80
Somebody check the scoreboard. Scott’s Top Dawgs didn’t just beat Brad’s Darque Warriors. They launched a full-scale offensive assault, piling up 166.44 points, the highest score of the 2026 season and the fifth-highest single-week regular-season score in Crunchtime history.
That’s right. In a league that’s been around since 2000, only four regular-season performances have ever topped what the Dawgs just did.
And the timing couldn’t have been better. After starting 0-2, the Top Dawgs have now rattled off three consecutive victories, taking down the previously unbeaten Pimps, the previously unbeaten Taco Man, and now the 3-1 Warriors. Scott isn’t just winning games. He’s collecting contenders like trophies.
Brad, meanwhile, put up a respectable 101.80 and still lost by an absolutely ridiculous 64.64 points. Sometimes you have a bad week. Other times you just happen to be standing in the path of a freight train.
๐ฎ TACO MAN SERVES UP A CASINO CATASTROPHE!

Tacoman9000 146.62 โ GB Gamblers 62.46
The much-hyped Game of the Week was supposed to be a heavyweight showdown between Corey’s undefeated Gamblers and Hector’s Taco Man.
Instead, somebody forgot to tell the Gamblers that the game had started.
Taco Man exploded for 146.62 points, while the Gamblers managed a miserable 62.46, producing an 84.16-point demolition. That’s not a loss. That’s a casino being shut down by the health department.
Corey’s perfect season is officially over, and Hector moves to 4-1, joining the Gamblers atop the standings by record. After getting knocked off by the Top Dawgs last week, Taco Man responded by dropping the second-highest score of Week 5.
Apparently, the tacos really do contain meat this year.
๐ THE JESTERS FINALLY WIN โ AND THEY DIDN’T DO IT QUIETLY!

Miami Jesters 145.96 โ Irish Pride 126.40
Four weeks. Four losses. An increasingly uncomfortable amount of clown music.
Then Week 5 happened.
The Miami Jesters erupted for 145.96 points, stunning Rich’s Irish Pride and finally securing their first victory of 2026. And they didn’t sneak past a struggling opponent, either. Irish Pride scored an impressive 126.40, which would have beaten seven of the other eight teams playing this week.
But Miami wasn’t interested in a close game. The Jesters turned in the third-highest score of the week and sent Rich home wondering how 126 points wasn’t enough.
The Jesters are now 1-4, but for one glorious week, the circus actually had a competent ringmaster.
๐ MONSTERS KEEP ROLLING, JOE BUCK KEEPS SEARCHING

Midway Monsters โ Jo e Buck Yourself 90.84
The defending champion Midway Monsters are quietly putting together another one of those seasons where nobody pays much attention until suddenly they’re standing in the championship game.
Tim’s Monsters improved to 3-2 with a 107.04โ90.84 victory over Joe Buck Yourself, powered by Christian Watson’s 27.3 points, George Pickens’ 20, and Braelon Allen’s 18.6. And they managed it despite quarterback Tyler Shough contributing an astonishing minus-0.16 points. That’s right, the Monsters won with a quarterback who actually subtracted from the scoreboard.
Dennis got 26.74 from Trevor Lawrence and 19.1 from Malik Nabers, but the rest of the lineup couldn’t keep pace. Joe Buck Yourself falls to 1-4, while the Monsters take a 3-2 lead in the lifetime series.
๐ดโโ ๏ธ SCALLYWAGS WIN THE BATTLE OF THE SINKING SHIPS

Scallywags 86.10 โ The Pimps 75.34
Two teams entered on two-game losing streaks. One was guaranteed to leave feeling better. The other was apparently determined to make things worse.
The Scallywags snapped their skid with an 86.10โ75.34 victory, thanks to Derrick Henry’s 21 points, Aaron Jones’ 16.7, and a heroic 21-point performance from kicker Spencer Shrader. When your kicker ties your star running back for the team lead, you don’t ask questions. You just collect the win.
For Ben’s Pimps, the collapse continues. After opening the season 2-0, they’ve now lost three straight. CeeDee Lamb managed 0.9 points, DK Metcalf delivered 2.3, and Amon-Ra St. Brown added just 6.9. Three big-name receivers combined for 10.1 points.
The Pimps are now 2-3, and somewhere Ben is staring at his roster wondering whether the waiver wire offers emotional support.

๐๏ธ Final Word: The League Has a New Problem
Five weeks are in the books, and Crunchtime suddenly looks very different. Taco Man has climbed into first place, the GB Gamblers have lost their aura of invincibility, and the Top Dawgs have gone from 0-2 to the hottest team in football.
Scott’s 166.44-point eruption was powered by Jared Goff’s 34.94, Jahmyr Gibbs’ 33.7, and Jaylen Warren’s 31.8. Those three alone combined for 100.44 points. That’s more than four entire Crunchtime teams scored this week.
But the biggest warning sign might be sitting just outside the playoff picture. Four teams are now tied at 3-2, with only two of those teams currently occupying playoff spots. The defending champion Monsters are lurking, the Scallywags are back in the fight, and the Pimps desperately need to find the emergency brake.
With eight regular-season weeks remaining, nobody is safe, everybody has an excuse, and the trash talk is only getting started.
Week 6 is coming. And after what we just witnessed, nobody should feel comfortable.
