For a few glorious moments, it looked like the Los Angeles Rams were about to pull off the comeback that would save nearly half the Crunchtime Survivor Pool. Then Arizona kicked a last-second field goal.
The Rams were the most popular choice among the 22 entries that entered Week 6, drawing 10 selections. Every one of those entries took a strike. Three previously perfect players were sent downstairs to the One-Strike Lounge; seven others had their tickets punched for Exile Island.
Somewhere, ten Crunchtime participants simultaneously shouted something at their televisions that cannot be printed in a family-friendly newsletter.
🥃 The Executive Club — Four Still Perfect
Last week, the Executive Club had seven members. This week, three of them trusted Los Angeles. The remaining four found other ways to survive, including two of the least popular choices on the Yahoo board.
| Member | Week 6 Pick | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Joe Buck | Buffalo | PERFECT |
| Keith’s picks | Carolina | PERFECT |
| McE | Carolina | PERFECT |
| Tim’s picks of doom | New England | PERFECT |
🎲 Keith and McE Go Shopping in the Bargain Bin
While the crowd piled onto the Rams, Keith’s picks and McE went with Carolina—a team chosen by just 1.1% of Yahoo participants. That’s digging through the clearance rack and somehow finding a winning lottery ticket.
Joe Buck backed Buffalo, chosen by 2.46%, and Tim’s picks of doom trusted New England. None of them joined the Rams stampede. The Executive Club may be getting smaller, but the remaining members have apparently learned not to follow the crowd off a cliff.
🩹 The One-Strike Lounge — New Arrivals
Three previously perfect entries checked in after Arizona’s field goal. The complimentary Executive Club cocktails are officially over.

Miami and Scott H have now made identical selections for six straight weeks: Jacksonville, San Francisco, Kansas City, Baltimore, Houston and the Rams. Five weeks of shared success, followed by one spectacularly miserable Sunday.
At this point, somebody should check whether they’re sharing a spreadsheet—or a therapist.
🏝️ Exile Island — Ten New Arrivals
For seven Rams supporters, the last-second kick was the end of the road. Three more entries also received second strikes: Camochick with Indianapolis, Zbird with Indianapolis, and Going all the way this year after making no selection.

😬 From the Executive Club to Exile Island in Two Weeks
ScottD, SteelerJ333 and Teemo were perfect entering Week 5. Then Dallas handed each a first strike. One week later, the Rams finished the job. From complimentary cocktails to a beach chair on Exile Island in just two weeks. That’s not a losing streak. That’s a trapdoor.
🚪 Quick Exit Again Finally Delivers
For five weeks, Quick Exit Again stubbornly refused to live up to its name. Arizona’s field goal finally fixed that branding problem. Better late than never, I suppose.
🏝️ The Island Is Getting Crowded
| Elimination Period | New Exiles | Island Population |
|---|---|---|

Exile Island is starting to look less like a punishment and more like a full-fledged retirement community. The residents have no picks left to worry about and an endless supply of opinions about what everybody still playing should do next.
🏈 One Kick Changes Everything
Survivor doesn’t care how close your team came to winning. The Rams fought back. They gave their supporters hope. Then Arizona’s kicker stepped onto the field.
One snap. One hold. One kick.
Ten strikes.
The Executive Club is still open, but management has reportedly banned all televisions showing Rams games. And somewhere on Exile Island, seven new Rams-related residents are still staring at the scoreboard, wondering how a comeback became a one-way ticket to the beach.
