WEEK 6 POSTGAME REPORT
The Pimps rise from the dead. Taco Man rules the seas. And the Dawgs come crashing back to Earth.
What a difference seven days can make. Last week, the Top Dawgs celebrated one of the greatest scoring performances in Crunchtime history. This week, they couldn’t reach 72. The Pimps went from a three-game skid to the week’s highest score. The Gamblers recovered, Joe Buck Yourself found an offense, and Taco Man kept rolling.
Irish Pride finally caught a break, proving that sometimes you don’t need to be good. You just need your opponent to be worse.
Nobody is safe. Nobody is consistent. And apparently, nobody wants to play the Pimps when Ben is angry.
THE PIMPS ARE BACK FROM THE DEAD!
The Pimps exploded for the highest score of Week 6 and snapped a three-game losing streak with a 52.10-point demolition of the defending champions.
Remember when the Pimps started 2-0? Remember the three straight losses that followed? Ben apparently got tired of being the punchline. Even without Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta, the Pimps unleashed an entire rescue squad. Tre Tucker WR1 delivered 97 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Bhayshul Tuten RB4 added two receiving scores. Together they accounted for 42.40 points—more than half the Monsters’ entire output.
And Travis Kelce? The 37-year-old tight end added 5.30 points. Not a vintage performance, but Ben didn’t need him to turn back the clock. He just needed him to avoid throwing out his back.
For Tim, Bijan Robinson managed 5.30, Christian Watson 6.40, and George Pickens 7.30. Caleb Williams led the starting lineup with 19.50. Meanwhile, Tyler Shough QB2 erupted for 32.96 on the bench after scoring minus-0.16 the previous week. That wouldn’t have erased a 52-point defeat, but it sure made the afternoon sting more.
THE PIRATES FORGET THEIR CANNONS
Hector remained on top at 5-1, winning by 36.90 despite cooling off from last week’s 146.62-point eruption.
The Scallywags arrived promising to steal Taco Man’s treasure. Instead, Hector handed them a menu, charged full price, and sent them back to sea without dessert.
Matthew Stafford scored 20.88, while Hubbard and Swift powered the ground game. Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR8 added 14.40 against Denver, catching 12 passes for 134 yards. Hector even left Matthew Golden WR4, who scored 17.40, and George Kittle TE4, who scored 12.90, on his bench. No harm done.
For the pirates, Derrick Henry managed only 4.00 points after entering the week as the season’s second-ranked running back. Patrick Mahomes scored 10.48, A.J. Brown 2.70, MarShawn Lloyd 1.00, and Pat Freiermuth 1.10. Emeka Egbuka WR14 led the offense with just 10.80. When your defense is one of your best scorers, the voyage has gone badly off course.
THE GAMBLERS CASH IN AGAIN
Corey bounced back from last week’s 84-point humiliation with a 36.04-point victory to improve to 5-1.
Corey had two choices after last week’s disaster: dwell on it or remind the league why the Gamblers opened 4-0. Kenneth Walker III RB1 rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns. Kyle Pitts TE1 caught two touchdown passes, and Chad Ryland K1 drilled all six of his field-goal attempts.
Add 15 points from the Chiefs defense and that’s 52 points from a tight end, kicker, and defense. Corey even survived Jacoby Brissett’s 6.92-point afternoon.
Brad’s Cincinnati bye-week losses were brutal. C.J. Stroud QB3 delivered 29.98 points and Chris Olave WR17 added 10.30, but the rest of the lineup offered little resistance. Rome Odunze managed 3.90, TreVeyon Henderson 2.00, Harold Fannin Jr. 0.90, and the Seahawks defense just three.
IRISH PRIDE FINALLY GETS SOME LUCK
Rich ended the Dawgs’ three-game winning streak by 5.66 points, despite scoring only 77.40 himself.
A week after producing 166.44 points—the fifth-highest regular-season total in league history—the Top Dawgs stumbled to 71.74. That’s a 94.70-point collapse in seven days.
Josh Allen and Christian McCaffrey combined for 44.00 points for the Irish, more than half their total. The rest? Davante Adams scored 3.90, Parker Washington 6.40, Cam Skattebo zero, and Nick Folk one. Rich didn’t need a masterpiece. He just needed Scott to have a worse Sunday.
With Jared Goff and Jahmyr Gibbs on bye, Jordan Love scored a respectable 22.24. But Jaylen Warren fell from 31.80 last week to 7.80, Zay Flowers had 6.70, Brock Bowers 7.00, and the Texans defense just one. Scott also watched Carnell Tate WR10 score 13.00 and Romeo Doubs WR18 score 10.20 from the bench.
JOE BUCK YOURSELF FINALLY BUCKS UP
Dennis found his offense, winning by 35.44 behind the week’s highest-scoring quarterback.
Trevor Lawrence QB1 threw for 306 yards and four touchdowns, finishing with 36.34 points. Malik Nabers WR3 caught 12 passes for 165 yards, Isaiah Likely TE2 added 99 yards and a touchdown, and Tyler Bass contributed 17 kicking points.
Those four players combined for 88.74 points—more than Miami’s entire starting lineup.
The Jesters’ brief revival evaporated after last week’s 145.96-point outburst. James Cook scored 21.30 and Jayden Daniels 26.00, but DJ Moore and Darren Waller each posted zero, Terry McLaurin managed 2.70, and Emanuel Wilson contributed 5.20. Miami fell to 1-5, while Dennis climbed to 2-4.
🏅 WEEK 6 AWARDS
A little recognition, a little ridicule, and a lot of reasons to talk trash.
The Pimps
Three straight losses, then the highest score of Week 6 against the defending champions. Ben’s offense suddenly has a pulse.
The Pimps
Tucker (WR1), Tuten (RB4), and Maye (QB4) combined for 72.20 points—nearly enough to beat the Monsters themselves.
Irish Pride
Sometimes you don’t need to be good. You just need your opponent to score 71.74.
Top Dawgs
From a historic 166.44 to 71.74. Scott went from the record books to the emergency room.
Tacoman9000
The taco truck keeps rolling. Even an off week produced a 36.90-point victory.
The Pimps
A three-game skid ends with a statement win. Is Ben’s team back, or is this another false alarm?
Scallywags
The lowest total of the week. Somewhere, a parrot is requesting a trade.
Miami Jesters
Opponents are averaging 117.86 against Miami. Facing the Jesters has become an offensive promotion.
Tyler Shough (QB2)
From minus-0.16 last week to QB2 this week—and not a single one of those points counted for the Monsters.
🎙️ SIX WEEKS DOWN. NOBODY IS SAFE.
The Top Dawgs went from historic greatness to a 71-point disaster. The Pimps went from three straight losses to the highest score of the week. The Gamblers recovered from an 84-point humiliation. Joe Buck Yourself finally found an offense.
And Taco Man? Hector didn’t even need 100 points to win his fifth game of the season.
Then there’s the defending champion Midway Monsters. They entered Week 6 at 3-2, quietly hanging around like they always do. Then Ben dropped 131.90 points on them. Tim fell to 3-3 and watched Tyler Shough (QB2) score 32.96 from the bench.
The Monsters are still hanging around. They’re just doing it with a few more bruises this week.
Your winning streak means nothing. Your projections mean nothing. And apparently, having the league’s top-ranked running back doesn’t mean much when he’s home on a bye.
The excuses are getting louder. The rivalries are getting nastier. And somewhere in Crunchtime, a manager is explaining why his 30-point quarterback was on the bench.
SIX WEEKS DOWN. SEVEN TO GO.
LET THE CHAOS CONTINUE! 🏈
