For the first time this season, two undefeated teams meet head-to-head. McE and the Scallywags have taken the more conventional route to 2-0, while Corey and the Gamblers have already shown an ability to survive just about anything.
Green Bay’s season could easily look very different. The Gamblers needed a late stat addition to turn their Week 1 matchup with the Top Dawgs into a 112.86-112.14 victory — a difference of just 0.72 points. Then they followed that nail-biter with an 85-51.52 win over the Midway Monsters. Two games, two completely different paths, same result.
McE hasn’t needed nearly as much drama. The Scallywags beat Miami 100.54-82.66 in the opener and followed it with a 108.98-100.28 victory over the Top Dawgs. Combined with their win over Joe Buck Yourself in their final meaningful game of 2025, the Scallywags enter this matchup on a three-game winning streak.

And it wasn’t one player carrying the load. Dak Prescott scored 37.76 last week, CeeDee Lamb delivered 28.3, Amon-Ra St. Brown added 27.2 and Jonathan Taylor contributed another 25.2. When four players are producing like that in the same lineup, there’s not much an opponent can do.
The Top Dawgs’ 0-2 record tells a much different story than their actual performance. They’ve scored 212.42 points, which is more than both the undefeated Scallywags and undefeated Gamblers. The problem has been timing. A 0.72-point loss in Week 1 was followed by an 8.70-point loss in Week 2.
